{Giveaway} Holly Natale Photography

I don't know about you, but I love having family photos taken. Trust me, most of the time I would prefer not to have MY picture taken, but there is something about documenting our family and how we grow and change that I LOVE.

So when a friend told me about Holly, I called her immediately! Landry's first birthday was right around the corner and I wanted to make sure we documented his one year with professional pictures.

Holly has 18 month old boy/girl twins of her own, so I knew she would work well with Landry. And I was right! She was incredibly patient and wasn't afraid to make crazy noises or faces to get his attention!

Holly even brought tons of props and balloons for us to use.

Holly is reasonably priced especially considering the quality of her work. And the best part is that she got the pictures back to us extremely quickly!

After our session, Holly graciously offered to giveaway a mini session on my blog! She is still growing her business, and I am happy to help!

FREE mini session {a $75 value} to one of my readers.
This mini session will be a 30 minute shoot
with a CD of 5-7 edited images.

Photo a Day February

I decided this month that I would participate in the photo a day challenge. I am not usually every good at taking picture of everyday things. Like many of you I only take pictures at events or special occasions. I am try to break that habit before Mr. Landry gets here. Please enjoy some of my photos.

Day 1: My view

Day 3: Hands

Day 4: Stranger (I felt a little weird taking a picture of a stranger)

Day 5: 10am

Day 6: Dinner

Day 7: Button

Day 8: Son (it was supposed to be sun, but it was too cloudy)

Day 9: Front Door

Day 10: Self Portrait (not a fan of pictures of myself)

Day 11: Makes you happy

Day 12: Inside your closet

Day 13: Blue

Day 14: Heart

Day 15: Phone

Day 16: Something new

Day 17: Time

Day 18: Drink

Day 19: Something you hate to do

Day 20: Handwriting

Day 21: A fave photo of you

Day 22: Where you work

Day 23: Your shoes

Day 24: Inside your bathroom cabinet

Day 25: Green

Day 26: Night

Day 27: Something you ate

Day 28: Money

Day 29: Something you're listening to

I think I am going to try March's photo a day too! I had fun sharing them, and I edited them all with Instagram.

If you have an iPhone and you haven't discovered Instagram yet, you need to!

It is so easy to use and it helps me take lots more pictures. You can either take the picture in the app, or you can take the picture and then edit it in the app.

You can add a caption and then choose if you want to share it on facebook, twitter, etc.

Ta da!

Then it will post to your feed for all of your followers to see. You can also see the pictures of the people you follow.

It's that easy! I have been doing the photo a day for the month of February(I will share that on here at the end of the month) and using this app everyday. Try it out and let me know what you think! You can follow me by searching cxs05b!

New Camera

I have been wanting a DSLR camera since my mom got hers 3 or 4 years ago. Well, today I finally got one! I am so excited!!! I am still experimenting and learning about it, but here are some of my images so far. Don't worry, I'm not planning on going into photography. However, I do want to be able to take good pictures of my family and someday my kids. But for now, Leo makes a great subject!

And this is him saying ENOUGH... but didn't he do good to sit still that long. We have trained him well. Poor dog, I'm probably going to torture him over the next few weeks. ha!
