Pinspired November

Today I am linking up with MEl, Shay and Sheaffer to show you my pinspired looks. This one is more of a "pinterest told me to" inspired.

pinterest outfit

Pinterest told me to, so I listened. I mixed black and brown! This has always been a huge no-no in my book, but after seeing the proof that it work I went for it. Shay told me to, so I listened. I mixed patterns! NEVER EVER in my life would I have put leopard print with stripes before pinterest!

I have to say, I love the way this outfit turned out! If I can do it, you can too! Thanks ladies for the inspiration!

Pin-Spired June 2013

Today I am linking up with Sheaffer, Shay and Mel for my monthly pin-spired outfit.

Here's the inspiration, it won't let me copy a picture for you... :(

Sorry, I didn't realize this picture was so blurry. I have my new favorite wedge on!! Side note: Sheaffer said to get a size bigger. I wear an 8.5 so I went and tried on the 9s. My feet are so narrow that they didn't fit me. So my advice is if you have narrow feet (I mean really narrow) get a size down.

Shorts- Old Navy
Shirt - Target
Accessories - Need some work... what would you wear with an outfit like this? It needs color for sure!

Today I am linking up with Shay,  Sheaffer, and Mel and Get Your Pretty On. To show you an outfit I wore this month that was inspired by Pinterest!

I wore a few (what I would call) cute outfits, but I only remembered to take a picture one day.

donna by fluffof5 featuring bke sole shoes

I found this on Pinterest back in Sept and bought a similar skirt so I could recreate this outfit. Here is my take on it!

Shirt - New York and Co
Necklace - Very Jane
Jacket - JCPenny (Years ago)
Skirt - Old Navy
Shoes - New York and Co

This skirt is seriously the most comfortable ever!

My Style

If you follow me on pinterest at all than you have seen me pin a ton (143 to be exact) outfits to the 'My Style' board. I was pinning them while I was pregnant knowing I couldn't wear them. Well since having Landry I have continued pinning.
The truth is I keep telling myself I'll go shopping when I lose weight. Or that outfit would never work for me. I keep telling myself all these lies when the truth is you can be cute no matter what size you are!!

I started following a blog called Suburban Strut. She is working mom of 3 that shares her practical style advice. I love reading her blog! And she tells you were she buys her clothes and they are always affordable and down-to-earth.

So for my birthday I went shopping! And it was one of the most successful shopping trips I've ever had! My husband was so sweet about it and I got some much needed alone time!

I am also learning to accessorize in order to create 'outfits'. I have never been super girlie, but I am determined to start taking better care of myself! My husband and son deserve and wife/mom who looks good! So I am very excited to expand my wardrobe!
