Fall Festival Number 2

Nonna flew into town just in time to go to our second fall festival. We went to the church Joel grew up in. We are still really close to a few of the families and they love seeing Landry grow up. Plus, Nonna wanted to show him off.

Fall Festival Number 1

This year our church did trunk or treat again. Our trunk was decorated for "Where the wild things are" and we all wore our pajamas.

Luckily, Joel and I signed up for the first shift, so after we were finished working we got to take Landry around to enjoy the rest of the festival.

This is the best you get when you try to get four busy boys together for a picture.

Our Little Lion

First of all, can I just say it is so hard to get a picture of Landry these days without his hands in his mouth!

Happy Halloween

This Halloween was a little bit different. We didn't trick-or-treat and we didn't stay home and pass out candy. Instead we headed up to the hospital to visit my sister.

She has been in the hospital for over 3 weeks now!! So we thought she needed some cheering up.  Look at that HUGE smile on her face. Can you tell she was happy to see us?

We brought some pizza and a soda. I even brought orange cups and black plates and spider web napkins. It was a very festive time! We definitely made a party of it!

And what's party with a lion with out a little Lion King reenactment.

Hope you all had a GREAT Halloween.

Fall Festival

Tonight was our annual Fall Festival at church. The past two years our class dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz, but this year we were Crayons.

This time last year our class only had one baby. And now we have 8 and next week we will have 9! Four of them were there tonight.

We had a lion, a candy corn, a shark and a golfer! All so cute!

We also had lots of our class there!

{Anna and Westin}

{Richard and Erin}

Landry loved hanging out with Alicia. He just kept smiling at her, I think he's gonna be a big flirt!

Landry can't wait till he is big enough to run around with Pearson!

Daddy was getting lots of smiles!

Getting close to bed time for these little ones.

I had to change Landry out of his costume because it was too warm and it was too wet from drool.

We were so busy taking pictures at one point I looked around and Ray was the only one manning our booth. Glad someone was paying attention.

On our way home I was talking to Joel and telling him I was amazed at how much has changed from last year. Last year it was just the two of us, and I was the only one who 'knew' Landry was on his way. When I say I 'knew', I didn't 'know' for sure, but I had a gut feeling.

So glad he is here now and we got to show him off! Wouldn't change it for anything!

Fall Festival 2011

Last night was our fall festival at church. We kept the same theme as last year "Once Upon a Time". This made our costumes super easy (esp Leo's).

Us as munchikins

"Ding Dong" the witch is dead! We did a cake walk and passed out ding dongs to the winners.

Joel and Jonathan helping the yellow brick road (Matt) tape the side of his posters. It was so windy they kept coming up.

Auntie M and a Scarecrow (Jenny and Tim)

Citizen of the Emerald City (Natalie and Todd)

A munchkin and Todo

Two more Emerald City citizens (David and Michelle)

Tin "wo"man and a scarecrow (Denise and Chase)

The whole Gang together. I didn't get a picture of our cowardly lion (Pearson) you'll just have to trust me that he was cute!

We had fun seeing all the little ones in their costumes and being able to be Jesus to the community. Wonder what the theme will be for next year?
