Sunday morning we woke up earlier than normal thanks to our cute little alarm clock. So we decided to go ahead and let Landry see his Easter basket.
I hope that one day he understands that Easter is not about the Easter bunny. I hope he know that God loves him so much that he sent his son to die on a cross for him. That is the true meaning of Easter, but having an Easter basket was a fun tradition in my family. I wanted to continue that tradition for Landry.
This year Landry got 5 books, 2 outfits, and puffs. Nothing fancy, he's not going to remember it anyway.
Then we all got ready and headed to church.
After church, we went over to my cousin Toni's house to eat and then have an Easter egg hunt.
Landry didn't get it AT ALL. I thought he would at least crawl to a colorful egg, but no... I guess the grass is just that interesting.
He did get 3 eggs though, but they all ended up in his mouth.
After Landry hunted his eggs it was time for us to head home. He only got a 30 minute nap on our drive over and he was very tired.
He woke up and we skyped with both families and then watched the Rangers!
