iPhone Rewind {October}

Hanging out at Bunko with Mommy. He was loving all the attention.

It finally got cool, so we had to put on our jacket.

Working outside with mommy.

His little booty is always up in the air when he sleeps. So cute!

Getting the hang of this new toy.

Can you spot what's wrong with this picture?

Popped it like its hot!

My sister the choral director.

"Don't worry mom, I'm fine, just playing."

He loves looking in the mirror.

Tummy time with mommy and daddy.

Let the brainwashing begin.

Watching the football game.

Landry's new pajamas.

Our Little Lion

First of all, can I just say it is so hard to get a picture of Landry these days without his hands in his mouth!

Happy Halloween

This Halloween was a little bit different. We didn't trick-or-treat and we didn't stay home and pass out candy. Instead we headed up to the hospital to visit my sister.

She has been in the hospital for over 3 weeks now!! So we thought she needed some cheering up.  Look at that HUGE smile on her face. Can you tell she was happy to see us?

We brought some pizza and a soda. I even brought orange cups and black plates and spider web napkins. It was a very festive time! We definitely made a party of it!

And what's party with a lion with out a little Lion King reenactment.

Hope you all had a GREAT Halloween.

Fall Festival

Tonight was our annual Fall Festival at church. The past two years our class dressed as characters from the Wizard of Oz, but this year we were Crayons.

This time last year our class only had one baby. And now we have 8 and next week we will have 9! Four of them were there tonight.

We had a lion, a candy corn, a shark and a golfer! All so cute!

We also had lots of our class there!

{Ray and Alicia}

{Amy}

{Katy and Pearson}

{Jenny and Beckett}

{Anna and Westin}

{Richard and Erin}

Landry loved hanging out with Alicia. He just kept smiling at her, I think he's gonna be a big flirt!

Landry can't wait till he is big enough to run around with Pearson!

Daddy was getting lots of smiles!

Getting close to bed time for these little ones.

I had to change Landry out of his costume because it was too warm and it was too wet from drool.

We were so busy taking pictures at one point I looked around and Ray was the only one manning our booth. Glad someone was paying attention.

On our way home I was talking to Joel and telling him I was amazed at how much has changed from last year. Last year it was just the two of us, and I was the only one who 'knew' Landry was on his way. When I say I 'knew', I didn't 'know' for sure, but I had a gut feeling.

So glad he is here now and we got to show him off! Wouldn't change it for anything!

State Fair

Every fall our family takes a trip to the State Fair of Texas. I loved going growing up because that meant we got a day off of school. My mom's birthday is Oct 8 so we usually plan our trip with her for her birthday. However, this year my sister was in the hospital the weekend we had planned to go. Joel, Landry and I went anyway.

We went with my Aunt Sue, my cousins Ashley and Lindsey and all of their kids. All of the kids were constantly checking up on Landry all day. It was so sweet.

When we got there I discovered they had baby changing/nursing stations throughout the park. I think they are knew because I had never seen them before, then again I had never been looking for them before.

They turned out to be quite nice. They came equipped with a rocker, changing table, and even a fan to help keep cool.

It was bright out so we all had to wear our sunglasses!

My Aunt Sue and her gang road the big Farris Wheel. We opted not to so we waited at the exit for them. Joel was telling Landry that he will get to go on it someday.

While we were waiting we saw this bamboo bike. I thought it was really cool. Oh the random things you see at the fair!

Next we checked out the animals. We actually somehow got into the back where we weren't supposed to be. They came and asked to leave. Landry wasn't sure what to think about the animals, but he was watching them intently.

Then we headed to the dog show. Like father, like son.

Chilling in the stroller before heading to the car show. The car show is Joel's favorite part of the State Fair. (PS- Can I just say I love the Elvis lip?!?)

It was time to head out. We went on Texas vs OU weekend and the game was ending so it was getting VERY crowded. But on our way out we managed to get a picture in front of Big Tex. I am so glad we did, as it turns out a week later Big Tex burned to the ground.

Can you tell which team lost? HA! They cleared the stadium way earlier than anticipated.
